The North West SCITT programme is an innovative school-led Initial Teacher Training model. Over the course of one intense year they will give you the skills and experience required to become a highly effective, fully qualified teacher, ready to take up a teaching post in KS2, KS1, Foundation Stage or SEN. You will have the opportunity to train in our district and may be given the chance to gain experience at Downholland Haskayne CE Primary.

Embrace SCITT offers, Primary, Secondary and SEND Teacher Training with campuses across the North West. Made up of a consortium of teacher training providers, they have over 30 years combined experience in delivering excellent teacher training.
The SCITT offers, full time, part time and Apprenticeship routes with flexibility to choose to also complete a level 7 postgraduate certificate in education (PGCE) with Liverpool Hope University which is delivered locally.
