The children were organised into pairs or threes of mixed age groups throughout both classes.
KS2 were entrusted with looking after their KS1 or EYFS partner as the children were given the freedom to wander all around the school and playground. The KS2 children were patient, attentive and very caring. All the children loved working with someone they don’t normally work with.
The success of this hunt was very apparent as there was a unanimous show of hands indicating that all of the children had really enjoyed themselves.
In Oak class we have been learning about WW2. We created these Blitz Scene silhouette pictures and learnt about how using silhouettes can be very powerful, this is why war pictures are often shown in silhouette.
We have thoroughly enjoyed this topic and creating these pictures.
